Traffic Enforcement Areas

The mission of the Traffic Unit is to reduce property damage, injuries, and deaths caused by traffic collisions in the City of Yorba Linda. Preventative patrols, proactive enforcement, analysis of traffic collision data, and active problem solving are used to accomplish this mission. The ultimate goal of traffic law enforcement is to achieve voluntary compliance with traffic laws and regulations.

Each month the Yorba Linda Traffic Unit analyzes recent collision data so that increased enforcement and visibility can be used in these areas in an effort to make the roadways safer. While these areas will be the primary areas of traffic enforcement, officers will also conduct enforcement in other areas of the city as necessary. This month the areas chosen for selective enforcement are:

1. Yorba Linda Bl between Village Center and Yorba Ranch
2. Bastanchury between Fairmont and Clydesdale
3. Imperial Hwy/Kellogg
4. Yorba Linda Bl/Lakeview
5. Lakeview/Laurel View
